HomeMy WebLinkAbout12-012 Authorizing City Manager to Enter into Automation System Resolution 12-012 RESOLUTION NO. 12-012 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AUTOMATION SYSTEM SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH THE JEFFERSON COUNTY LIBRARY CLAN (COOPERATIVE LIBRARIES AUTOMATED NETWORK WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Library is a special purpose library district that provides valuable support to the community. It proposes to maintain an"Integrated Library System" consisting of a number of functional modules, such as acquisitions, circulation, cataloging, serials, and an Online Public Access Catalog; and WHEREAS, it is in the City's best interest to establish a formal arrangement with the Jefferson County Library to obtain services of the Integrated Library System for the Port Townsend Library, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend, that the City Manager is authorized to execute an Agreement with the Jefferson County Library for services of the Integrated Library System not to exceed $13,020.00 in 2012.
