I I I I CITY OF' PORT TOWNSEND Port Townsend Planning Commission December 1, 1977 Honorable Mayor City Council Members City of Port Townsend Gentlemen: At the regular November 28, 1977, meeting of the City Planning Commission, the following requests were heard and recommenda- tions maqe: APPLICATION NO. 7710-02 - Charles Hansen & Alexander Von Reutter 4315 San Juan Ave. Request to vacate west U Street: Block 19-3,6,16,18 and Block 20- 2,5,17,19, which is an abandoned car line track. That portion of west U Street between San Juan and McNeill Streets has already I' been vacated. The Commission voted unanimously to recommend to the City Council the request be tabled until such time as a Master Street Plan has been approved. NOTE: When the Master Street Plan is approved, all applicants whose street vacation requests~were tab~edwill be notified and their requests heard, by the City Planning Commission. APPLICATIDN NO. 7710-03 - Jeanne Willis 715 Benton Street Variance request to add 12 x 14 room behind beauty shop to meet requirements of the State Health Department. \'lould also like to construct living quarters over the shop. The Commission voted unanimously to recommend to the City Council they grant a variance to build a minimum-sized storage room (size determined by the City Council) which meets the conditions of items 2-3-4-6-7-8, Section 6l0A of the City Zoning Ordinance. APPLICATION NO. 7711-04 - Robert J. Such and Eleanor Such 1080 Umatilla Avenue Request to vacate Cross Street betwe~n Umatilla ánd Woodland Aves.
