I. ROLL CALL
Chair Lois Sherwood called the meeting to order at 7: 10 p.m. Other members present were
Ernie Baird, Karen Ericksen, Cindy Thayer, Bob Rickard and Mark Welch. Also present were.
city councilmembers Jean Camfield and Cindy Wolpin; staff members Dave Robison and
Katherine Johnson; and Lisa Palazzi, wetlands consultant.
II. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: None
III. COMMUNICATIONS: Current Mail
IV. OLD BUSINESS: Environmentally Sensitive Areas Ordinance, (continued from February
6, 1992)
The Commission scheduled an additional workshop for March 19 and changed the March 26
meeting to a workshop. The public hearing on this ordinance will be scheduled for April 22 and
23 if these dates are acceptable to the Department of Community Development.
Mr. Robison and Ms. Palazzi then reviewed the changes in the definitions section of the draft
ordinance.
The Commission discussed at length the Fish and Wildlife section of the draft ordinance. They
also reviewed the proposed requirements of a Habitat Management Report.
The Commission then discussed the Frequently Flooded Areas of the draft ordinance.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:55 p.m.
