Home My WebLink About86-030 RESOLUTION NO, 86-30 RESOLUTION TO ENTER INTO UNION WHARF LEASE NEGOTIATIONS WHEREAS, the City of Port Townsend (hereinafter the "City") is the part owner of the Union Wharf Dock located on the waterfront of Port Townsend, Washington; and, WHEREAS, the City is desirous that the Union Wharf facility be reno- vated and put to fruitful use for the benefit of the citizens of Port Townsend; and, WHEREAS, Union Wharf Associates (hereinafter "UWA") is a commercial development firm with headquarters in Seattle, Washington and experi- enced in the redevelopment and renovation of historic commercial structures; and, WHEREAS, UWA has interest in leasing, renovating and developing Union Wharf for a multi-use retail commercial facility; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that in consideration of the above the parties hereby agree to undertake negotiations for the lease of Union Wharf to UWA for renovation and development for a retail commercial facility; PASSED by the Port Townsend City Counci! this 7th day of October, 1986 Attest:
