REF: All Things Lavender Sign
Dear Mr. Veenstra:
The City of Port Townsend, Development Services Department has recently noticed the newly
installed sign for the above-mentioned business. A building permit (BLD05-014) was submitted
January 23, 2005 for the installation of the sign. As of this date the building permit has not
been issued for the installation of the new sign.
During the Historic Preservation Committee meeting in February 2005, it was determined the
original colors were too bright for the district and suggested the sub-committee work with the
owners to come to a color agreement. There are no records in our file to determine that this
meeting occurred.
We would like to resolve this concern prior to the end of the year. Once the color
determination has been made and agreed upon, the building permit can be issued for the sign.
If you have any questions, contact us at 379-5087.
Sincerely,
' V F t ~~ ~~
