RESOLUTION NO. 6~ S ?
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PORT TOWNSEND, AUTHORIZING A LATECOMER
UTILITY CONTRACT PURSUANT TO RCW 35.91.
WHEREAS, James Parker has agreed to construct a six-inch water
line in 7th Street from Discovery Road to Hood Street, and in
Hood Street from 7th Street to 9th Street within the City-of Port
Townsend in Jefferson County, Washington, and
~EREAS, Mr. Parker wishes to enter into an Agreement with the
City of Port Townsend pursuant to RCW 35.91, as amended, to
provide for payment of the costs of such improvement, and for
partial reimbursement by subsequent users or connectors to the
system,
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of Port Townsend that the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute on behalf of the City an agreement substantially in the
form of Exhibit 1, attached hereto, providing for the payment of
the costs of construction of the utility line by the person set
forth therein, and for such person to be reimbursed by subsequent
users or connectors onto said utility line, in the amounts and in
the time and manner set forth therein.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend and
signed by the Mayor this sixteenth day of August, 1988.
