HomeMy WebLinkAbout94-024RESOLUTION NO. 94--~/ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER TWO AS THE FINAL CHANGE ORDER FOR CONSTRUCTION COSTS OF THE POPE MARINE BUILDING RENOVATION PROJECT. WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, Change Orders are a necessary and regular occurrence on construction projects such as the Pope Marine Building Renovation Project; and A Final Change Order is needed to incorporate all remaining modifications to the original contract, and requires prompt, fair negotiation and signatures by the City and the Contractor; and The City Council hereby acknowledges the completion of the project and extends thanks to the General Contractor, the subcontractors and all craftspeople who contributed in the renovation of the Pope Marine Building transforming the structure into a valued community facility, NOW THEREFORE Be it resolved that the City Council of the City of Port Townsend does hereby authorize the Mayor to execute Change Order No. 2 for the amount of $667.00 as a credit to the City and resulting in a Final Total Contract amount of $61,245.00 + $4,838.36 sales tax = $66,083.36.
