A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PORT TOWNSEND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH
CH2MHILL TO ASSIST WITH THE PREPARATION OF THE
STORMWATER MASTER PLAN AND IMPLEMENTATION
PROJECTS.
WHEREAS,
The City has reviewed its Professional Services roster and has evaluated the
performance of the engineering firms that are currently performing services for
the City; and
WHEREAS, CH2M HILL cominues to perform its services in a satisfactory manner and has
been responsive and effective in meeting City needs; and
The City has negotiated a contract with CH2M HILL and selected them to
continue providing assistance with Stormwater Master Plan and Implementation
Projects in 1996; and
WHEREAS, The City has identified this project as one of the priorities for 1996, has
allocated funds in the 1996 CIP and has included it in the final budget; and
The City does not have the staff available for these services, and because such
services are not needed on an ongoing basis, it makes sense for the City to
"privatize" these work efforts,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend
that it authorizes the Mayor to sign a Professional Services Agreement with CH2M HILL for
the Stormwater Master Plan and Implementation Projects.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend and signed by the Mayor this
18th day of December, 1995.
