RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT
TOWT~SEND DECLARING CERTAIN PUBLIC WORKS VEHICLES
AND/OR EQUIPMENT TO BE SURPLUS PROPERTY AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SELL THE SAME AT FAIR MARKET
VALUE
The City Council of the City of Port Townsend, Washington, does resolve as follows:
WI~AS, the City Public Works Department owns certain vehicles and equipment that
have become inoperative due to age; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department would like to declare the vehicles/equipment
as surplus property, and sell the property at fair market value; and
WHEREAS, the disposal of the vehicles/equipment as surplus property is in the best
interest and for the common benefit of the City,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council for the City of Port
Townsend that the vehicles/equipment listed below with approximate value are declared surplus
property and shall be sold at fair market or surplus value. The funds shall be allocated pursuant
to the City's standard accounting procedures. The Mayor is authorized to sign any necessary
conveyance documents.
