Topic Motions/Recommendation/Action Call to Order The meeting was called to order at 4:16 p.m. Approval of the Agenda Unanimously approved Approval of Minutes The minutes of June 13, 2024 were unanimously approved. Public Comment None Lateral Officer Hiring Eligibility List The Commission unanimously approved the lateral officer hiring eligibility list. Priorities for Remainder of 2024 and for 2025 The City's leadership team with be meeting with City Council later this month to discuss the City's workplan. For 2024 and 2025 the Commission would like to focus on updating the Civil Service Rules and hiring process. Commissioners requested hard copies of the Rules, which Cynthia will ask the Clerk to provide, and that any proposed updates are shown in comparison with the original text. Commissioners asked about a City email address. Cynthia explained that some advisory boards have a dedicated email address for their board. Next regular meeting August 8, 2024 — The Commission would like to move the meeting time to 10 a.m. for the regular meeting in August and possibly September.
