To have different voices in the cambers is essential in our understanding of what the Citizens of Port Townsend feel, need, and Value when it comes to making our City a more artful community. With respect to our community the Port Townsend Arts Commissioners agree to Prioritize civility, equity, and kind consideration in the matters of Public comment at our Monthly Meetings.” We hope that making a public statement regarding our public comment Ethos will allow community members to feel empowered when joining us to share their thoughts, Ideas, and opinions. PTAC would like to formally invite residents to join us at our monthly meetings. We would love to see the chambers filled with your ideas of how to improve our city’s access to public art and relationship to Artists. -Cosmo Rapaport (they/them)
