A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
(PSA 18) WITH CH2M HILL FOR TRANSPORTATION RELATED SERVICES.
WHEREAS,

WHEREAS,
the City has reviewed its Professional Services roster and has evaluated the
performance of the engineering firms that are currently performing services for the
City; and
CH2M Hill continues to perform its services in a satisfactory manner and has been
responsive and effective in meeting the City needs; and
the City has allocated funds in the 1997 CIP and has included them in the final
budget; and
The City does not have the staff available for this project, and because such services
are not needed on an ongoing basis, it makes sense for the City to "privatize" this
work effort,
N O W T H E R E F O R E
Be It Resolved that the City Council of the City of Port Townsend authorizes the Mayor to sign a
Professional Services Agreement (PSA 18) with CH2M Hill for Transportation Related Services.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend, and signed by the Mayor this 18th
day of February, 1997.
