HomeMy WebLinkAbout97-100RESOLUTION 97- ? DO A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE PROPERTY USE AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT FOR THE ASSISTED LIVING CONCEPTS, INC. PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT WHEREAS, the City and Assisted Living Concepts, Inc., entered into a certain Property Use and Development Agreement for the Assisted Living Concepts, Inc., Planned Unit Development on February 25, 1997; and WHEREAS, K Dean Skorheim> acting as an agent for Assisted Living Concepts, Inc. has requested an amendment to add three additional dwelling units to the 36 unit Assisted Living Concepts, Inc., assisted living care facility; and WHEREAS, the original building plans were designed to accommodate three additional dwelling units internal to the structure without increasing the overall building footprint; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held an open record hearing on August 14, 1997 to consider the matter; and WHEREAS, the neighbors attending the heating were supportive of the proposed PUDA amendment; and WHEREAS, on a 4 to 1 vote in favor, the Planning Commi,qsion has recommended approval of the proposed PUDA amendment; and WHEREAS, environmental review subject to the State Environmental Policy Act has been completed for the PUDA amendment and a Determination of Nonsignificance (DNS) was issued on July 23, 1997, NOW THEREFORE, City Council hereby accepts and adopts the findings of fact, conclusions and project conditions as recommended by the Planning Commission dated August 14, 1997, and authorizes the Mayor to sign the First Amendment to the Assisted Living Concepts, Inc. PUDA in substantially the form attached hereto. ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend in regular session assembled this second day of September, 1997.
