A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND
DECLARING IMCO GENERAL CONSTRUCTION OF BELLINGHAM WASHINGTON
TO BE THE LOWEST RESPONSIVE RESPONSIBLE BIDDER FOR CONSTRUCTION OF
THE CT PIPELINE AND IMPROVEMENTS.
WHEREAS, the City Council authorized the design of, and appropriated funds for construction
of the CT Pipeline and Improvements; and
WHEREAS, the City has advertised and received bids for this construction work in a fair and
timely fashion, in accordance with City and State bidding laws; and
WHEREAS, the City has found IMCO Construction Company to be the lowest responsive
responsible bidder,
N O W T H E R E F O R E
Be It Resolved by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend as follows:
Section 1:
The bid submitted by IMCO Construction Company for construction of the CT Pipeline in the
amount of $999,800.00 plus sales tax of 7.9% is hereby accepted and approved. IMCO General
Construction Company is declared the lowest responsive, responsible bidder on the prOject.
Section 2:
The contract as identified by the contract documents entitled "CT Pipeline and Improvements" is
hereby awarded to IMCO General Construction Company, subject to IMCO Construction Company's
signature of the contract and posting of an acceptable performance bond, payment bond, insurance
certificates and all other documentation required by the contract and the law.
Section 3:
The contract shall be signed by the Mayor and the City's award of the contract will be final when
conditions set forth in Section 2 above have been met.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend and signed by the Mayor this 20th day of
April, 1998.
