HomeMy WebLinkAbout98-055RESOLUTION NO. q~ "~ --~'.~' A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND FIXING THE TIME FOR HEARING ON A PETITION FOR A STREET VACATION BE IT RESOLVED, THAT: The Port Townsend City Council shall conduct a public hearing on Street Vacation Application No. LUP98-13 (David Deering). The proposal, if approved, would vacate the south one-half of 32nd Street from 100 feet west of the westerly edge of Logan Street to the easterly edge of Rosecrans Street, all of Logan Street from the northerly edge of 31st Street to the southerly edge of 32nd Street, all of Logan Street from the northerly edge of 30th Street to 25 feet south of the southerly edge of 31st Street (for sewage lift station), all of the 30 foot portion of 30th Street from the easterly edge of Thomas Street to the easterly edge of Rosecrans Street, all of Rosecrans Street from the northerly edge of 31st Street to the centerline of 32nd Street, all of Rosecrans Street from the northerly edge of 30th Street to the southerly edge of 31st Street, all within the Monogram Addition to the City of Port Townsend. As the purpose of the proposed vacation is to minimize adverse environmental impacts, the application is exempt from the Street Vacation Moratorium established by Resolution No. 97-92. The hearing will be conducted at or about 7:00 PM on Monday, June 1, 1998, at the Community Center at the corner of Lawrence and Tyler Streets, Port Townsend, Washington.
