Introductions and Welcome

• Carrie asked Stakeholders to introduce themselves
• Carrie provided opening comments and spoke about ongoing
outreach
Summary of Ongoing Outreach Efforts
o Carrie presented that students are becoming more engaged in
this effort and are about to publish their findings, gathered
independently
■ Stakeholders comment that we are supportive and want
to celebrate youth voices
Open House #1 Results
o Chris summarized attendance statistics at the Open House
o Chris presented the results of the Interactive boards
■ On golf course site priorities listed 1-13, beginning with
Golf course, Walking/biking Trails, Habitat, Kah Tai
Prairie, Nature play
■ On Mt View sire priorities listed 1-11, beginning with
Pool, Playground, Educational Center, Pickleball,
Farmer's Market
o Chris presented summary of feedback from online survey
■ 1091 responses
■ 74% of people surveyed support alternate uses, or a
hybrid if uses for the golf course property
o Tim commented that there is a missing data point that Hybrid +
No is more than 50%
o Gabe suggested that the group propose 1 golf course hybrid
course and 2 non -golf course plan

o Tim commented with concerned about the upcoming lease
renewal
o Cameron commented in agreement with Gabe's proposal
o Stakeholder question if the survey be opened again- angst in
community about not being able to participate
■ Chris commented that there will be another community
survey after the 2Id Open House
o Forest commented on making a distinction about `voting' vs.
`responding'. This is not a vote
o Dina asked if the numbers 1-6 on stickers were taken into
account when looking at the numbers
o Matt commented on a need to acknowledge that we don't have a
random sample, can't really generalize findings
o Stakeholder question on the report form David Hein, what will be
the format?
o Carrie sated that eh Open House #1 information will be shared at
upcoming City council meeting at with the Parks and Trail
Commission
o Suggestion to have an additional meeting time ahead of March
23rd
■ Need to discuss Golf report, deed info, understand what
other housing projects are happening, summarize
property restrictions/limitations on property
