What is a Transportation Benefit District (
Quasi -municipal independent taxing district that can raise
revenue for specific transportation projects
4/1 Would be contiguous with city boundaries
Projects can be construction, operation, preservation,
maintenance, engineering, right of way, legal, finance,
City Council would govern the District acting as separate leg
entity unless a vote to assume powers occurs (meant to mak
multiple public meetings/times less onerous/confusing) i
What is a Transportation Benefit District (
Over 110 cities in Washington State impose a TBD.
Main funding tools include:

list will be updated as street conditions change.
