City hosts County open house for planning for the Healthier Together Aquatics Center Feasibility Study.
Chimacum — CHIMACUM, Washington — The City of Port Townsend will host a Public Open House to
gather community feedback on the Healthier Together Aquatics Center Feasibility Study on Thursday,
April 27th from 6:00 — 8:00 P.M. at the Chimacum School Auditorium, 91 West Valley Road, Chimacum,
WA 98325. Please visit the city's website for childcare registration. This will be a similar open house the
city hosted at Fort Warden Commons on March 14, 2022 but wanted to host one in the County. Please
attend and share your ideas!
This study effort began in February 2023 as the initial step in providing long-term infrastructure and
opportunities for improving community health and wellness by building on previous collaborative efforts
and meeting the evolving needs of our community. Opportunities to live an active and healthy life play a
vital role in every community and the goal of this project is to reengage previous partners and the
community to establish a health and wellness center with a modern aquatic component. We are all
healthier together!
