The Grantor, Robert H. Afflerbach, for and in consideration of the
payment to them of one dollar ($1.00), receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, do here and hereby grant, bargain and sell to the
City of Port Townsend, a municipal corporation in Jefferson County,
Washington, an easement over, across and through the following
described property:
A 20 FOOT WIDE EASEMENT FOR WATERLINE PURPOSES, AND A 30
FOOT WIDE TEMPORARY EASEMENT FOR THE PURPOSE OF
CONSTRUCTING SAID WATERLINE, OVER THE NORTH 176 FEET OF
THE SOUTH 276 FEET OF GOVERNMENT LOT 4, SECTION 7,
TOWNSHIP 29 NORTH, RANGE 1 EAST, W.M., JEFFERSON COUNTY,
WASHINGTON, THE CENTERLINE OF WHICH IS DESCRIBED AS
FOLLOWS:
COMMENCING AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF SECTION 7, TOWNSHIP
29 NORTH, RANGE 1 EAST, W.M., JEFFERSON COUNTY,
WASHINGTON; THENCE NORTH 1 DEGREE 23' 51" EAST ALONG THE
WEST LINE OF SAID SECTION 7 A DISTANCE OF 100.00 FEET;
THENCE SOUTH 88 DEGREES 35' 49" EAST 1636.56 FEET TO THE
POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE NORTH 21 DEGREES 08' 36" WEST
102.56 FEET; THENCE NORTHWESTERLY ALONG A CURVE TO THE
RIGHT HAVING A CENTRAL ANGLE OF 22 DEGREES 30' 4111, AND
A RADIUS OF 125.62 FEET FOR A DISTANCE OF 49.36 FEET;
THENCE NORTH 1 DEGREE 22' 05" EAST 33.19 FEET TO THE
TERMINUS OF EASEMENT CENTERLINE.
said easement to be for the purpose of locating, constructing and
maintaining a water line, together with rights of ingress and
egress for said purposes of locating, constructing and maintaining
said water line. It is understood between the parties that said
line will become a permanent part of the water system of the said
City of Port Townsend.
