NOTICE OF LAND USE APPLICATION AND
MEETING OF THE CITY'S DESIGN REVIEW ADVISORY COMMITTEE
City File Nos. LUP20-010(Design Review) and LUP20-011 (Critical Area)
Proposal: Convert a partially below grade surface parking lot with a 3-story mixed-use building
with 43-units of affordable housing served by under-building parking and a street-level
commercial space. The site also contains a steep slope geologically hazardous Critical Area that
would be altered by the planned construction.

Design Review Advisory Committee (DRAC) meeting: As submitted, the project requires
approval of a Type II Commercial and Mixed-Use Design Review permit. As part of this
permitting process, a recommendation of the City's DRAC is required. The DRAC’s review and
recommendation for this project will occur at a public meeting held remotely via Go To
Webinar on Thursday, June 4, 2020 beginning at 3:00 p.m.
Persons Wanting to Participate in the June 4, 2020 DRAC meeting have the following options:
Submit public comments via email before the meeting start. Staff will read them aloud
(3 minutesmaxper person).Send those emails to: publiccomment@cityofpt.us.

View the remote meeting in person from City Council Chambers on the 2floor of City
Hall (540 Water Street, Pt. Townsend, WA)should the social distancing guidelines in
place on June 4 allow the City to provide this option. All persons who participate via this
option must maintain appropriate social distancing standards consistent with any state
mandated guidelines in effect at that time.
For Persons Wanting to Submit Written Comments only, the deadline for doing so is: June 11,
2020. Any person has the right to review information available concerning the project, submit
comments, request a copy of the decision once made, and appeal the decision. Unless
appealed, there is no public hearing for this project. Written comments must be received by
the Development Services Department no later than 4:00 p.m., June 11, 2020. A final decision
on the application will be made within 120 days from the date of the determination of
completeness.
