Approval of Minutes
The minutes of Feb. 5, 2019 were approved (4-0-1; C. Britton abstained).
Approval of the Agenda
The Agenda for March 5 was amended to include discussion under Old Business of
submitted photosimulations for kiosk locations associated with HPC18-025, Jamestown
S’Klallam. The Agenda, as amended, was accepted unanimously (5-0).

New Business
A. HPC19-010, 820 Water St. (Siebenbaum

Nora Kingsley represented her project to paint an artistic mural consisting of “Eagle
(Flagship Landing or PT Plaza) – Artistic
Wings” as a backdrop on the Flagship Landing east wall (facing new S. Tyler Plaza).

HPC’s recommendation (5-0 aye) was to “provisionally” approve the project subject to
further review and approval of the paint colors and to the applicant researching
appropriate text for the mural.
Old Business
A. HPC18-025, Chetzemoka Trail
Staff reported on efforts to locate a downtown kiosk near Pope Marine Park.
Other Business
A. Discussion of appropriate replacement
Matt Tyler, Manager of Jefferson County Parks, asked for non-binding input on use of
fencing along rear (north) line of
chain link fencing (black or green coated) along north line of Memorial Field. Matt cited

maintenance and safety concerns as primary driver for this material choice.
HPC, without binding themselves or the DSD Director, expressed general support for
the fencing & directed Matt to submit a formal application when they were ready to
construct.
