A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, WASHINGTON EXPANDING
THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE NONMOTORIZED
TRANSPORTATION ADVISORY BOARD FROM
SEVEN (7) MEMBERS TO NINE (9) MEMBERS
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution 01-012 on March 19, 2001,
establishing general rules governing citizen advisory boards; and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution 01-020 on March 19, 2001,
amending the City Council Rules of Procedure by establishing a City Council
Transportation Committee, indicating the Nonmotorized Transportation Advisory Board
will report to the City Council Transportation Committee; and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution 01-017 on March 19, 2001,
establishing the Nonmotorized Transportation Advisory Board (NMTAB) as a citizen
advisory board. Section 4 of the Resolution indicates there would be seven (7) members
of the NMTAB;
WHEREAS, increasing the size of the Nonmotorized Transportation Advisory
Board would be useful to address a wide variety of non-motorized transportation issues,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Port Townsend as follows:
SECTION 1. MEMBERSHIP OF NMTAB.
The Nonmotorized Transportation Advisory Board shall consist of nine (9) members.

meeting thereof, held this first day of April, 2002.
