RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PORT TOWNSEND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE AGREEMENTS WITH CERTAIN GOVERNMENTAL,
NONPROFITS AND OTHER ENTITIES CONSISTENT WITH
FISCAL YEAR 2004 APPROVED BUDGET
The City Council of the City of Port Townsend, Washington resolves as
follows:
WHEREAS, the City Council has scheduled for adoption at its December 15,
2003 meeting the 2004 annual budget, which provides City funding for certain
nonprofit organizations, certain other entities, and certain other annual contracts of a
reoccurring nature; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to PTMC 3.46.100, the City Council determines it
appropriate to authorize the City Manager to execute agreements with the nonprofit
organizations, and other annual contract providers, in amounts consistent with the 2004
approved annual budget, as set forth below.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council for the City
of Port Townsend that the City Manager is authorized to execute agreements in the
form approved by the City Attorney with the governmental, nonprofits, other entities
and certain annual contract providers, in the amounts approved in the adopted 2004
annual budget, as shown on the attached list entitled "Annual Contracts."
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend and signed by the
Mayor on this fifteenth day of December, 2003.
