This consulting Fire Code Official is in receipt of the set of plans and specification for the above-
referenced building permit application from your office.
The above-referenced proposal was reviewed by this plans examiner with the International Fire Code
U.F.C.I 2006 Edition, and NFPA 13. The following constitutes this plan examiners findings and
determinations based upon the plans of record submitted.
Findines & Determinations:
1. The new Group B occupancy [bank] is proposed to receive a small addition of sprinkler heads to an
existing NFPA 13 Group-B automatic sprinkler system.
2. The automatic fire sprinkler system is found to be designed by a licensed fire protection engineer,
and shall be installed by a licensed technician (W.A.C. 212-80).
3. The automatic fire sprinkler system is found to comply with this plans examiner's building permit
report for BLD07-179.
4. A formal "Above-Ground Piping Contractor's Material & Test Certificate" shall be filed at the
completion of the system addition.
Any other applicable or relevant sections of said Code not covered herein shall nonetheless apply to this
proposal.
l 0 hour time was consumed in the review of this proposal, which will include site inspection by this
plans examiner.
It is the recommendation of this plans examiner that the subject permit application, based upon proposed
system design and specifications submittals, be approved subject to the aforesaid stipulations of approval.
Two sets of City approved plans need to be returned to the permittee.
