The Public Works Director or designee (Director) has approved development of the property on an existing substandard street that was constructed to less than the current minimum street standards in the City's Engineering Design Standards (Local Access Street, Design Detail T-9)..Under the authority of PTMC 12.04.140.J and the Engineering Design Standards, the Director may grant a waiver from construction of frontage improvements at the time of development if they can better be constructed in the future through an area-wide improvement district. The current Engineering Design Standards for new residential streets require concrete curb and gutters, paved asphalt roadway and catchbasins and enclosed piping for stormwater control.
