Permit cost is $104.50, payable at time of application submittal. Include a detailed floor plan of the family dwelling; label rooms and give location and dimensions of all doors and windows. No permit is needed to simply re-roof an existing single-family residence or duplex. BED AND BREAKFASTS, MULTI-F'AMILY and COMMERCIAL buildings always require a permit for any roofing work Cost is based on (Table 1-A, Building Permit Fees" in the International Building Code, based on the job valuation. Plan review fee will be charged for complex projects. NOTE: Unreinforced masonry buildings shall have parapet bracing and wall anchors installed at the roof line and designed in accordance with Section 411 of the GSREB (Guidelines for the Rehabilitation of Existing Buildings). Complete Application Port Townsend Municipal Code, Section 16.04.140, Vested Rights - Substantially Complete Building Permit Application: Applications for all land use and development permits required under ordinances of the City shall be considered under the zoning and other land use control ordinances in effect on the date a fully complete building permit application, meeting the requirements identified in this sectioq is filed with the Building and Community Development.
