It is my understanding that pottions of the deck have not yet been completed, but are slatcd to be completed this spring/sunmer. The engineering perfonned on the deck back in 1999 shotrld still be valid for the 2003 IBC requiremerrts. The attached sketch shows a sectron of the deck edge condition. The note specifuing that (2) l2 gauge screws a124" attach the wood ledger to the steel channel may be omitted.
