Volunteer Trail Work Party
Saturday, February 17th from 9 am to Noon
Calling all lovers of our wonderful City trails!
A volunteer work party for maintenance of the City of Port Townsend’s trail system will take
place at 35th Street Park. The work will be led by the City’s Non-Motorized Transportation
Advisory Board with volunteer assistance. Trail maintenance activities will include re-gravelling
portions of the treadway to fill low, muddy spots and trimming brush to clear the trail corridor.

Interested volunteers will meet at the trail entrance into the park on the corner of 35 Street and
Rosecrans, which is accessed via Umatilla Avenue.
Please bring:
Gloves
Wheelbarrows
Shovels and rakes (for moving & spreading gravel)
Pruners & loppers (for clearing vegetation)
Be sure to wear sturdy work boots and gloves, and dress for the weather – rain or shine, the trail
work will get done! Snacks will be provided afterwards.
