RESOLUTION NO. 17-037
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON, FIXING THE TIME FOR HEARING ON A PETITION FOR A
STREET VACATION
BE IT RESOLVED, THAT:
The Port Townsend City Council shall conduct a public hearing on Street Vacation
Application No. LUP17-068. The proposal, if approved, would vacate the west 30 feet of an
unopened section of Howard Street right-of-way lying immediately east of Block 4 within the
Swan Park Addition to the City of Port Townsend. The subject right-of-way lies west of the Port
Townsend Business Park, between unopened 9th and 10th Streets in the Upper Sims Way area of
Port Townsend.
The hearing will be conducted at or about 6:30 PM on Monday, September 18, 2017 in
the Council Chambers of City Hall, 540 Water Street, Port Townsend, Washington or such other
date as the Mayor determines if necessary to accommodate other Council business or requests by
staff or applicant, so long as the hearing is not more than 60 days from adoption of the
Resolution.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a regular business
meeting thereof, held this 21 st day of August, 2017.
