GENERAL CONDITIONS

to beginning construction; call 385-2294, press 3. ,Measures shall include installation of silt fencing and
graveled construction entrance (see attached details). Adjacent rigbts-of-way shall be kept free of dirt
debris. Soils exposed during construction shall be temporarily stabilized with mulching, plastic sheeting,
etc. Soils shall be permanently stabilized with seeding, plantings, sodding, etc. once construction is
complete. Applicant is responsible for protection of adjacent properties.
3. All elements of engineering including nailing, holdowns, sheathing, and alternate braced wall panels
(ABWP) require inspection prior to cover.
4. Owner or owner's agent shall review and oversee correction of any and all deficiencies noted by required
inspections.
5. Re -inspection is required after inspection report corrections are completed.
6. The Building Department is unable to pass final inspection on your project until Public Works
requirements have been completed and inspected. For Public Works inspection call 385-2294, press 3. A
minixnurn of twenty-four hours notice is re wired. Public Works approval must be received twior to
scbedulin the Buildina Department's final inspection.
7. Final Inspections are required prior to occupancy; A Certificate of Occupancy is required for a non-
residential project.
8. All building permits expire if no progress has been made within six months, or if no inspections are done
by the Building Department within one year. Call for at least one inspection per year to keep your
building, permit active.
9. Revisions require submittal & approval prior to making changes in the field. Contact the Building
Department @ 379-3208 prior to making changes to the approved plans.

Dear Mr. Neubauer:
I am writing as a follow-up to our rnecting the other day at 1604 Landes and our discussion about
theproject. I do understand how diffilcult it can be trying to complete a job of this magnitude
and especially with the attention to detail that you are trying to achieve. I sense that you also
appreciate that it is difficult to track projects that go; on for years.
At the end of our meeting we agreed that you, would have substantial completion by years end,
which translates into have the training, plumbing, mechanical and electrical work completed and
approved. I will keep the permit active in anticipation ofhaving the inspections ibr this work
called fbr and approved prior to the end of December. If it is not possible to have at least this
much of the work done I will need to expire the permit and issue a new permit for the completion
ofthe lob. As I explained a new permit Would be 'pro -rated' based upon the work to be
completed and consideration Would be given, to the past work in terms of code compliance.
I wish you the best on completion of the project and look forward to doing an inspection of the
work later this year.
