So, under Council's Ordinance 2969 it needs HPC review to ensure a historic structure isn't being lost. I don't foresee any type of problem with it (I'm reasonably familiar with the structure), but still need to apply. The good thing is that since it's outside the Historic District, the review is administrative using the HPC chair and DSD Director (or staff). . Turnaround time is 2-4 days. If you want me to contact the Fairground rep on this, I'd be happy to. Let me know who it is and a phone #. I'll get them the application form & explain why this is required. Once we have the application, I'll arrange to do a site visit (for pictures, etc.) with the HPC chair. Turnaround time is probably 2-4 days after we get the application.
