RE: Statement of Certification to verify structural changes to 924 Washington Street,
Port Townsend, WA 98368, Jordini's Subs.
An archway (5 x 7) has been installed in the hearing wall between dining areas at
the business known as Jordini's Subs.
Typical load bearing construction techniques were employed:
1). Three 2 x 6 studs (16" O.C.), were removed generating a 5' 3" span.
2). A # 1 D.F. 6 x 10 header with 2 x 6 trimmers was installed between the
remaining 2 x 6 studs.
3). Each trimmer/ king stud system transfers the lohd to aligned and existing
concrete foundation piers.
