HomeMy WebLinkAbout17-022 Authorizing the City Manager to Sign the Consultant Contract for Preparation of the Stormwater Management PlanResolution 17-022 RESOLUTION NO. 17-022 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN THE CONSULTANT CONTRACT FOR PREPARATION OF THE STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PLAN WHEREAS, the completion of the City's Stormwater Management Plan is a priority for the City; and WHEREAS, through a selection process city staff as selected Parameterix as the consultant to assist the City with preparation of the Stormwater Management Plan; and WHEREAS, the City Council must authorize the City Manager to sign the Stormwater Management Plan consultant contract; and WHEREAS, the consultant contract estimate is higher than currently budgeted, City staff is preparing a supplement funding plan for 2017 which will come back to City Council for approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend that the City Manager is authorized to sign the consultant contract for preparation of the Stormwater Management Plan. ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a regular meeting thereof, held this 1 st day of May 2017.
