Smoke detectors (SD) are required throughout the house per the 1994 UBC: SD's in each sleeping room and in hallwaysJareas giving access to the sleeping area with a minimum of one on each floor. Inspection required. 2. Environmental air exhaust ducts must terminate outside the building 3' from properly lines and 3' from openings into the building to minimize recirculation. GENERAL CONDITIONS 1. A separate electrical pernR is required for any electrical work. 2. Reinspections are required after any corections are complete. 3. Final Inspections and approvals are required prior to occupancy. 4. All building pernits expire if no progress has been made within six months, or if no inspections have been made by the Building Department within one year.
