1 . SPECIAL INSPECTIONS: Special Inspections are required for concrete and reinforcing steel.
Special Inspections to be done by licensed engineers or ICBO Certified inspectors.
Pre-approval of ICBO inspectors required; present current ICBO certification card to Building
Department prior to any inspections.
2. SPECIAL INSPECTIONS: Owner or owner's agent shall review and oversee correction of any
and all deficiencies noted by Special Inspections. Building Department to receive copies of all
Special Inspection reports.
3. TEMPORARY EROSION & SEDIMENT CONTROL: Ownerlcontractor shall install erosion and
sediment control measures as needed during construction.
4. CONCRETE: Concrete and resteel inspections done by approved Special Inspectors need not
also be done by City Building Department. Building Department to receive copies of all Special
Inspections.
5. SETBACKS: Setbacks approved per site grading plan. Only critical setback is from Gaines St.
which is required to be 20'; plans show 50' setback.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
1. A separate electrical permit is required for any electrical work.
2. Reinspections are required after any corrections are complete.
3. Final Inspections and approvals are required prior to occupancy.
4. All building permits expire if no progress has been made within six months, or if no inspections have
been made by the Building Department within one year. Call for at least one inspection per year to keep
your building permit active.
5. POST THIS PERMIT ON-SITE WITH THE APPROVED PLANS.
