SPECIAL CONDITIONS /RESTRICTIONS
2. TESC: TESC: ApplicanUcontractorsholl install temporary erasion control measures as
required during construction. Measures shall include but are not limited to installation of silt
fencing and graveled construction entrance. The public right-of-way shall be kept clean.
Tracking of mud and debris from the site will not be allowed. Failure to comply with this
condition will result in all work on the site being stopped. Areas disturbed by construction
activity which are not to be covered by permanent impervious surfaces (e.g., parking,
walkways, driveways, porches) shall be landscaped or reseeded within seven days of reaching
final grade. Once construction is completed, the site must be permanently stabilized with
seeding, plantings, sodding, etc. Applicant is responsible for protection of adjacent properties.
3. PLUMBING: If water pressure exceeds 80 psi, pressure reducing valve required.
4 . PLUMBING: Main shut-off valve to be installed in water supply piping prior to connection to
home. Valve shall be full-flow type (gate or vall valve); minimum 3/4" diameter, same as
supply pipe.
5. PLUMBING: Freeze protection (eg. insulation) required for water supply pipes outside and in
crawl space.
6. PLUMBING: Water heater pressure relief valve drain shall extend outside of skirting, with
elbow down and terminate between 6" and 24" above ground.
7. PLUMBING: Horizontal runs in drainage system shall be sloped minimum 114" per foot.
8. MECHANICAL: Whole house exhaust fan timer shall be set to operate for 2 4-hour periods per
day unless central exhaust fan is set to run continuously.
9. MECHANICAL: Dryer exhaust shall be vented to the outside. Extension into crawl space
requires venting through skirting with no dips; follow manufacturer's instructions, Moisture
exhaust ducts shall not exceed total com rued vertical and horizontal length of 14 feet with 2
90-degree elbows.
10. FRAMING: Framing inspection required for carport.
11 . FRAMING: If carport is not fully self-supporting or if roof of home is modified, an alteration
permit and inspection is required by Labor and Industries. Plans are unclear as to whether
porches are factory-built orsite-built. Site-built porches also require L & I review and
inspection.
12. DRAINAGE: All water drains piped to outside shall drain away from home; ground to slope
away from home for minimum 5 feet ~ 112" per foot.
13. FINAL: Pier supports and anchors per manufactured home installation manual require
inspection prior to skirting.
14. FINAUSKIRTING: No holes or gaps greater than 1/4" allowed in skirting. Crawl space
ventilation per manufacturer's specs or 1!150, located on at least two opposing sides to provide
for cross ventilation. Crawl space access required: one (1) per section or as required by
manufacturer; minimum 18" x 24".

2. Reinspections are required after any corrections are complete.
3. Final Inspections and approvals are required prior to occupancy.
4. All building permits expire if no progress has been made within six months, or if no inspections have
been made by the Building Department within one year. Call for at least one inspection per year to
keep your building permit active.
