SPECIAL CONDITIONS /RESTRICTIONS
1 . ALL ELEMENTS OF BRACED WALL PANELS (BWP) REQUIRE INSPECTION PRIOR TO
COVER.
2. Contractor must receive approval from both the designer and engineer and an approved
revision from the Building Department prior to making Feld changes.
3. TESC: ApplicanUcontractorsholl install temporary erosion control measures as required
during construction. Measures shall include but are not limited to installation of silt fencing and
graveled construction entrance. The public right-of-way shall be kept clean. Tracking of mud
and debris from the site will not be allowed. Failure to comply with this condition will result in
all work on the site being stopped. Areas disturbed by construction activity which are not to be
covered by permanent impervious surfaces (e.g., parking, walkways, driveways, porches) shall
be landscaped or reseeded within seven days of reaching final grade. Once construction is
completed, the site must be permanently stabilized with seeding, plantings, sodding, etc.
Applicant is responsible for protection of adjacent properties.

5. FOUNDATION: Vertical resteel speed @ 16" o.c.; horizontal ~ 12" o.c. for walls greater than
24" tall.
6. FOUNDATION: See Sheet S2/3 for holdown types and locations and anchor bolt spacing.
7. FOUNDATION: See Sheet S2/3 for anchor bolt spacing in shear walls.
8. FOUNDATION: Thickened edge with 2 #4 bars and Simpson #APB66 column bases required
for concrete porch.
9. FLOOR FRAMING: See Sheet 116 for rim joist attachment specs: front porch wall attach rim
joist to mudsill with A35F clips ~ 24" o.c.; rear wall ~ 36" o.c.
10. FLOOR FRAMING: TJI plan req'd on-site ~ inspection time.
11 . PLUMBING: If water pressure exceeds 60 psi, pressure reducing valve required.
12. FRAMING: Engineer's approval is required prior to cutting, drilling or notching beams or other
members.
13. FRAMING: Block all panel edges per structural calcs; see Sheet S2/3 for panel edge nailing
specs.
14. FRAMING: CS16 Simpson straps required for top plate; see Sheet S1/3 for detail.
15. ROOF FRAMING: Simpson H-1 ties speed.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
1. A separate electrical permit is required for any electrical work..
2. Reinspections are required after any corrections are complete.
3. Final Inspections and approvals are required prior to occupancy.
4. All building permits expire if no progress has been made within six months, or if no inspections have
been made by the Building Department within one year. Call for at least one inspection per year to
keep your building permit active.
5. POST THIS PERMIT ON-SITE WITH THE APPROVED PLANS.
