SPECIAL CONDITIONS /RESTRICTIONS
1 . TESC: Contractor shall install temporary erosion and sediment control measures on-site as
needed during Construction. Measures may include but are not limited to installation of
graveled construction entrance, sift fencing, covering of exposed soils, sweeping of paved
surfaces, etc.
2. PLUMBING: If water pressure exceeds 80 psi, pressure reducing valve required.
3. PLUMBING: Main shut-off valve to be installed in water supply piping prior to connection to
home. Valve shall be full-flow type (gate or ball valve); minimum 3/4"diameter, same as
supply pipe.
4. PLUMBING: Freeze protection (insulation) required for water supply pipes outside and in crawl
space.
5. PLUMBING: Water heater pressure relief valve drain shall extend outside of skirting, with
elbow down and terminate between 6" and 24" above ground.
6. PLUMBING: Horizontal runs in drainage system shall be sloped minimum 1/4" per foot.
7. MECHANICAL: Whole house exhaust fan timer shall be set to operate for 2 4-hour periods per
day unless central exhaust fan is set to run continuously.
8. MECHANICAL: Dryer exhaust shall be vented to the outside. Extension into crawl space
requires venting through skirting with no dips; follow manufacturer's instructions. Moisture
exhaust ducts shall not exceed total combined vertical and horizontal length of 14 feet with 2
90-degree elbows.
9. FRAMING: Framing inspection required fordecks; may be done at time of final inspection.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS /RESTRICTIONS
10. DRAINAGE: All water drains piped to outside shall drain away from home; ground to slope
away from home for minimum 5 feet ~ 1!2" per foot.
11 . FINAL: Exposed clay pipe uncovered during clearing must be identified and if necessary,
rerouted to connect to City's sewer system prior to final plumbing inspection and Public Works
final inspection approval.
12. FINAL: Pier supports and anchors per manufactured home installation manual require
inspection prior to skirting.
13. FINAVSKIRTING: No holes or gaps greater than 114" allowed in skirting. Crawl space
ventilation per manufacturer's specs or 1!150 (14 required), located on ~t least two opposing
sides to provide for cross ventilation. Crawl space access required: one (1) per section or as
required by manufacturer; minimum 18" x 24".
GENERAL CONDITIONS
1. A separate electrical permit is required for any electrical work.
2. Reinspections are required after any corrections are complete.
3. Final Inspections and approvals are required prior to occupancy.
4. All building permits expire if no progress has been made within six months, or if no inspections have
been made by the Building Department within one year. Call for at least one inspection per year to
keep your building permit active.
5. POST THIS PERMIT ON-SITE WITH THE APPROVED PLANS.
