Use kraft faced insulation, 4 mil poly or approved vapor barrier paint (which requires a vapor barrier paint certificate at Final Inspection which specs model of approved paint). 5. FINAL: Address for ADU required. See Jan Zimmer at City Hall for issuance ($3.00 fee required). Post 5" high house numbers on ADU. If these numbers cannot be seen from the street additional 3" numbers must be posted on a post or mail box on a route that leads to the ADU. 6. FINAL: Smoke detectors are required throughout all residential dwelling area per the '94 UBC.
