#PECIAL CONDITIONS! RESTRICTIONS
1 . TESC: Owner/contractor shall install erosion and sediment control measures as needed during
construction. Measures shall include but are not limited to installation of a graveled
construction entrance and silt fencing. The public right-of-way shall be kept clean; tracking of
mud and debris from the site is not allowed. Failure to comply with this condition will result in
all work on the site being stopped. Areas disturbed by construction activity which will not be
covered by permanent impervious surfaces (eg. structures, walks, driveways) shall be
landscaped or seeded within seven (7) days. Owner is responsible for protection of adjacent
properties.
2. FOOTINGS: Applies to studio and porch footing @ main house only. Porch pier footing shall
be keyed into compacted earth per plans.
3. FOUNDATION: Applies to studio only.
4. SLAB: Applies to main house; entire slab to be insulated.
5. FLOOR FRAMING: Applies to studio only; 18 inch minimum clearance required between
bottom of joists and ground-in crawl space.
6. FRAMING: See sheet A-2 of plans for Simpson CWB wall bracing requirement.
7. ROOF FRAMING: Simpson H3 connectors required for both house and studio.
8. FRAMING: Engineered truss plan to be on-site ~ inspection time.
9. FRAMING: To meet exterior wall bracing requirements, siding for both house and studio
requires Sd galvanized nails, 6" o.c. @ edges and 8" o.c. in the field.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
1. A separate electrical permit is required for any electrical work.
2. Reinspections are required after any corrections are complete.
3. Final Inspections and approvals are required prior to occupancy.
4. All building permits expire if no progress has been made within six months, or if no inspections have
been made by the Building Department within one year. Call for at least one inspection per year to
keep your building permit active.
5. POST THIS PERMIT ON-SITE WITH THE APPROVED PLANS.
