SPECIAL CONDITIONS /RESTRICTIONS
1 . FOUNDATION ONLY Permit: Subsequent structure must be compatible with this foundation
design.
2. See page 10 of final geo-tech report dated 10/13/97 for construction monitoring by
geo-technical engineer of geo-technical aspects of project.
3. TEMPORARY EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL (TESC): Approved engineered TESC
measures which can be installed prior to foundation work (e.g. along the side of the site and
graveled construction entrance) must be installed and inspected by City Engineering office,
385-2413, prior to any foundation work. INSPECTION REQUIRED. Subsequent silt fencing at
rear of building/on bluff to be installed immediately after grading/foundation work.
INSPECTION REQUIRED. Engineered stormwater management plan to be submitted with
subsequent permit for remodel of structure.
4. AUGERCAST PILING INSPECTION: Geotechnical engineer to be present during placement.
Copy report to Building Department.
5. FOOTINGS & CASSIONS: Special Inspections per UBC Section 1701 required for all
concrete work including cassions. Special Inspection inspectors and agencies must be listed in
WABO Certification Register or be approved by the Building Department PRIOR to any
Special Inspections. Owner and/or Owners Agent shall review and oversee correction of any
and all deficiencies noted by required Special Inspections. Copy to Building Department all
Special Inspection Reports.
6. SLAB: See approved engineered plans for details. Note: some A.B.'s @ 12" O.C.
7. WALLS: See approved engineered plans for details.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
1. A separate electrical permit is required for any electrical work.
2. Reinspections are required after any corrections are complete.
3. Final Inspections and approvals are required prior to occupancy.
4. All building permits expire if no progress has been made within six months, or if no inspections have
been made by the Building Department within one year. Call for at least one inspection per year to
keep your building permit active.
5. POST THIS PERMIT ON-SITE WITH THE APPROVED PLANS.

inspector to either be listed in curcent edition of WABO "Agency and Inspector Register" or
present ICBO credentials to Building Department PRIOR to performing inspections.
6. FINAL: Structure to be placed on foundation per engineered plans.
