SPECIAL CONDITIONS !RESTRICTIONS
1 . HOURS: All construction activities including loading and unloading of goods and materials,
operation of forklifts and tractors, and the operation of power tools, machinery and equipment
shall be limted to 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday and prohibited on weekends and
national holidays.
2. ALL ENGINEERED ELEMENTS OF CONSTRUCTION REQUIRE INSPECTION PRIOR TO
COVER. ANY CHANGES TO ENGINEERED PLANS REQUIRE PR10R APPROVAL BY THE
ENGINEER OF RECORD AND APPROVED REVISION BY THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT.
3. TESL: Temporary erosion and sediment control measures shall be installed on site during
construction as needed. Measures shall include but are not limited to the following Best
Managment Practices for small parcel erosion and sediment control: installation of silt fencing,
straw bales, graveled construction entrance, sweeping of paved surfaces, etc.
4. FOUNDATION: See Engineering Supplement for anchor bolt spacing and holdown details for
entry/shop/porch area. Note approved plate (square) washers shall be used in place of cut
(round) washers for holdowns and anchor bolts in designated shear walls.
5. SLAB: WWM required (not optional) in dome slab per engineer.
6. SLAB: See Sheet #4 of plans for foundation information; interior footings are 18" x 6"
thickened slab with 2 # 4 bars.
7. FLOOR FRAMING: See Enginering Supplement for anchor bolt, washer and holdown details
for entry/shop/porch area.
8. FLOOR FRAMING: See Sheet # 5 of plans for upper floorjoist plan (2 x 12 @ 16" o.c.) and
Sheet #8 for skyloft floor details.
9. PLUMBING: If water pressure exceeds 80 psi, pressure reducing valve is required.
10. FRAMING: See Engineering Supplement for shear wall schedule, entry-roof-to-dome
connection detail and positive connection specs for wall/joist connections, riser wall panel
connection and top plate splice connection. See also Sheet #2 of plans for connection specs
for header/post cap.
11 . FRAMING: See plans and engineering for riser wall, extension arches and cupola framing
details.

13. DRYWALUNAILING: Sheetrock speed for walls and ceiling in entry/shop area only.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
1. A separate electrical permit is required for any electrical work.
2. Reinspections are required after any corcections are complete.
3. Final Inspections and approvals are required prior to occupancy.
4. Ali building permits expire if no progress has been made within six months, or if no inspections have
been made by the Building Department within one year. Call for at least one inspection per year to
keep your building permit active.
5. POST THIS PERMIT ON-SITE WITH THE APPROVED PLANS.
