SPECIAL CONDITIONS /RESTRICTIONS
1 . HOURS OF CONSTRUCTION: Outdoor construction activities on the site, including but not
limited to the loading and unloading of goods and materials, the operation of forklifts and
tractors or the operation of power tools, machinery and equipment, are permitted only during
the hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and prohibited on Saturdays, Sundays
and national holidays.
2 . Live trees with 6" dbh or greater or which are located more than 10 feet from the building pad
must be preserved.
3. DUST CONTROL: Dust control measures during construction shall include, but are not limited
to: watering of the site, vegetation of exposed areas, backfilling as soon as possible, and
sweeping impervious surfaces where soil may be tracked. Chemical dust suppressants are
prohibited.
4. BUILDING CONSTRUCTION: All engineered elements require inspection prior to cover,
including but not limited to: seismic anchors, shear walls, specified nailing, blocking, hold
downs, positive connections, etc.
5. TESC: Per approved plan; measures may include but are not limited to the use of silt fencing,
temporary sediment ponds, diversion ditches and fire washes.
6. FOOTINGS: See sheet S100 of plans for interior footing sizes and locations.
7. FOUNDATION/FLOOR FRAMING: See Sheet A101 of plans for anchor bolt locations.
8. FOUNDATION: See Sheet S100 for hold down types and locations.
9. FOUNDATION: Five (5) crawl space access Locations speed.
10. FLOOR FRAMING: See Sheet S100 for positive connection specifications.
11 . PLUMBING: If pressure exceeds 80 psi, pressure reducing valve is required.
12. FRAMING: Plans spec all 6x headers, beams and posts as DF #1 and better.
13. FRAMING: See Sheets A101 and A102 of plans for shearwall locations, type and nailing
schedule.
14. FRAMING: Blocking required for plywood sheathing ~ panel edges.
15. FRAMING: Stairs/stringers speed ~ DF #1 and better.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS I RESTRICTIONS
23. LIGHTING: Shielding shall be used on all exterior lighting to mitigate light and glare from
affecting traffic safety and neighborhood privacy. High density lights including mercury-vapor
and halogen lighting are prohibited. Low wattage lighting shall be ground mounted or mounted
on standards no more than six feet in height.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
1. A separate electrical permit is required for any electrical work.
2. Reinspections are required after any corcections are complete.
3. Final Inspections and approvals are required prior to occupancy.
4. All building permits expire if no progress has been made within six months, or if no inspections have
been made by the Building Department within one year. Call for at least one inspection per year to
keep your building permit active.
5. POST THIS PERMIT ON-SITE WITH THE APPROVED PLANS.

1 . HOURS OF CONSTRUCTION: Outdoor construction activities on the site, including but not

the hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and prohibited on Saturctays, Sundays
and national holidays.
2. Live trees with 6" dbh or greater or which are located more than 10 feet from the building patl
must be preserved.
3. DUST CONTROL: Dust control measures during construction shall include, but are not limited
to: watering of the site, vegetation of exposed areas, backfilling as soon as possible, and
sweeping impervious surfaces where soil may be tracked. Chemical dust suppressants are
prohibited.
4. BUILDING CONSTRUCTION: All engineered elements require inspection prior to cover,
including but not limited to: seismic anchors, shearwalis, specified nailing, blocking, hold
downs, positive connections, etc.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS /RESTRICTIONS
1 . HOURS OF CONSTRUCTION: Outdoor construction activities on the site, including but not
limited to the loading and unloading of goods and materials, the operation of forklifts and
tractors or the operation of power tools, machinery and equipment, are permitted only during
the hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and prohibited on Saturdays, Sundays
and national holidays.
2. Live trees with 6" dbh or greater or which are located more than 10 feet from the building pad
must be preserved.
3. DUST CONTROL: Dust control measures dudng construction shall include, but are not limited
to: watering of the site, vegetation of exposed areas, backfilling as soon as possible, and
sweeping impervious surfaces where soil may be tracked. Chemical dust suppressants are
prohibited.
4. BUILDING CONSTRUCTION: All engineered elements require inspection prior to cover,
including but not limited to: seismic anchors, shear walls, specified nailing, blocking, hold
downs, positive connections, etc.
5. TESC: Per approved plan; measures may include but are not limited to the use of silt fencing,
temporary sediment ponds, diversion ditches and fire washes.
6. FOOTINGS: See sheet 5100 of plans for interior footing sizes and locations.
7. FOUNDATION/FLOOR FRAMING: See Sheet A101 of plans for anchor bolt locations.
8. FOUNDATION: See Sheet S100 for hold down types and locations.
9. FOUNDATION: Five (5) crawl space access locations speed.
10. FLOOR FRAMING: See Sheet 5100 for positive connection specifications.
11 . PLUMBING: If pressure exceeds 80 psi, pressure reducing valve is required.
12. FRAMING: Plans spec all 6x headers, beams and posts as DF #1 and better.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS /RESTRICTIONS
23. LIGHTING: Shielding shall be used on all exterior lighting to mitigate light and glare from
affecting traffic safety and neighborhood privacy. High density lights including mercury-vapor
and halogen lighting are prohibited. Low wattage lighting shall be ground mounted or mounted
on standards no more than six feet in height.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
1. A separate electrical permit is required for any electrical work.
2. Reinspections are required after any corrections are complete.
3. Final Inspections and approvals are required prior to occupancy.
4. All building permits expire if no progress has been made within six months, or if no inspections have
• been made by the Building Department within one year. Call for at least one inspection per year to
keep your building permit active.
