SPECIAL CONDITIONS I RESTRICTIONS
1 . MECHANICAL: Separate permit required for Type 1 Hood in kitchen.
2. FRAMING: Verify 1 Hour occupancy separation between A3 (brew pub) and R-1 (hotel).
Construction on Floor-2 to be 1 Hr. fire resistive construction.
3. FRAMING: Prior to Framing Inspection, provide Public Works approval for brewery operations
and waste water management.
4. FINAL: BLD96-00159 (basement slab, 5/8" Type X GWB ceiling 8self-closing doors, and new
set of stairs) and Revision 1 (re-open existing stair, add guardrail & handrail) to be complete
prior to occupancy of this permit.
5. FINAL: Public Works to approve brewery operations. Sign off by Development Engineer.
6. FINAL: Post occupant loads: 10 max. upstairs (includes office); 78 total occupants (post
occupant load sign inside and adjacent to main exit). Key locking hardware allowed on main
exit with sign in 1" letters on contrasting background posted next to door. 'THIS DOOR MUST
REMAIN UNLOCK DURING BUSINESS HOURS." Remaining exit doors to ALWAYS be
operable from inside without the use of a key, special knowledge or effort.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
1. A separate electrical permit is required for any electrical work.
2. Reinspections are required after any corrections are complete.
3. Final Inspections and approvals are required prior to occupancy.
4. All building permits expire if no progress has been made within six months, or if no inspections have
been made by the Building Department within one year. Call for at least one inspection per year to
keep your building permit active.
5. POST THIS PERMIT ON-SITE WITH THE APPROVED PLANS.
