SPECIAL CONDITIONS !RESTRICTIONS
1 . TESC: Engineered plan required prior to framing per Shoreline Perrnit Exemption. Prior to
that plan, applicant shall employ all necessary small parcel erosion control measures to control
run-off from the site. (see attached DOE BMP's) ,
2. FOOTINGS: See architectural plans for footing details and locations.
3. FOUNDATION: See sheets A-7 (footing details and hold-down schedule}, A-8 (shear wall
schedule for anchor bolt spacing) and A-9 (footing details) for foundation specifics. All
engineered elements require inspection prior to cover e.g., anchor bolts, specified nailing, etc.
4. FLOOR FRAMING: See sheets A-7 and A-8 for double joist locations and anchor bolt spacing.
5. PLUMBING: If water pressure exceeds 80 psi, pressure reducing valve required.
6. MECHANICAL: HVAC contractorto provide certification for fresh air damper setting per
WSVIAO 303.1.2 standards. Whole house fan timer to be installed at furnace. Whole house
fan requires minimum 120 cfm.
7. FRAMING: Engineered stormwafer plan to be approved prior to framing inspection.
8 . FRAMING: Blocking required at shear walls; see sheet A-8. Pony wall at shear wall requires
blocking; see detail #3, sheet A-9.
9. FRAMING: Plans spec 4x and 6x beams and posts at DF #1 ar better.
10. FRAMING: Truss engineering to be reviewed by architect of record. Truss/non-bearing wall
fastener to be "STC" anchor, truss/bearing wall fastener to be "H7"anchor.
11 . INSULATION: Plan indicates R-38 blown-in (~ flat ceiling; R-30 required.
12. DRAINAGE: See condition #7 for engineered erosion and stormwater control plan requirement
13. FINAL: HVAC certificate required for fresh air damper setting; see condition #8.
14. FINAL: File copy of recorded Hold Harmless Agreement req'd.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
1. A separate electrical permit is required for any electrical work.
2, Reinspections are required after any corrections are complete.
3, Final Inspections and approvals are required prior to occupancy.
4, All building permits expire if no progress has been made within six months, or if no inspections have
been made by the Building Department within one year. Call for at least one inspection per year to
keep your building permit active.
5. POST THIS PERMIT ON-SITE WITH THE APPROVED PLANS.
