SPECIAL CONDITIONS /RESTRICTIONS
1 . FOUNDATION: Foundation is existing via previous permit.
2. FLOOR FRAMING: May inspect at FRAMING Inspection.
3. PLUMBING: There is no plumbing inspection specific to this permit, however, any plumbing
routed through this addition must be inspected prior to cover.
4. MECHANCIAL: Energy worksheet indicates "other fuels" and remote manifolded fresh air.
Any ducting to or through this addition area must be inspected prior to cover.
5. FRAMING: 5/8" Anchor Bolts retrofitted to foundation. See approved plan schedule for
spacing and embedment.
6. FRAMING: See approved plan for retrofitted Holdown Schedule indicating type, placement
and embedment.
7. FRAMING: See approved plans for Shear Wall Schedule. NOTE: Submittal to engineer of
record and building department required if staples are used for fastening wall panels.
8. FRAMING: Exterior plywood sheathing is full height of walls - to underside of rafters.

9. FRAMING: See approved plans for added framing (posts) in existing construction.
10. FRAMING: See approved plans for rafter to beam connections.
11 . FRAMING: All engineered elements require inspection prior to cover.
12. DRYWALL NAILING: Bedroom #3 requires 5/S" Type X drywall on garage ceiling below.
13. FINAL: Temporary Certificate of Occupancy is required to occupy unless final inspection is
completed. Final inspection for this permit should be coordinated with final inspection for
remainder of structure which is under a future permit.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
1. A separate electrical permit is required for any electrical work.
2. Reinspections are required after any corrections are complete.
3. Final Inspections and approvals are required prior to occupancy.
' All building permits expire if no progress has been made within six months, or if no inspections have
been made by the Building Department within one year. Call for at least one inspection per year to
keep your building permit active.
