RESOLUTION NO. 16-037
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,
WASHINGTON,FIXING THE TIME FOR HEARING ON A PETITION FOR A
STREET VACATION
BE IT RESOLVED, THAT:
The Port Townsend City Council shall conduct a public hearing on Street Vacation
Application No. LUP15-090. The proposal, if approved, would vacate a 30' by 330' section of
unopened Howard Street right-of-way lying east of Block 5 in the Swan Park Addition to the
City of Port Townsend. The subject right-of-way lies west of the Port Townsend Business Park,
between unopened 7th and 9th Streets, and east of the new Howard Street Extension road
alignment in the Upper Sims Way area.
The hearing will be conducted at or about 6:30 PM on Monday, September 19, 2016, in
the Council Chambers of City Hall, 540 Water Street, Port Townsend, Washington or such other
date as the Mayor determines if necessary to accommodate other Council business or requests by
staff or applicant, so long as the hearing is not more than 60 days from adoption of the
Resolution.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a regular business
meeting thereof,held this 15th day of August, 2016.
