1 . A separate building permit is required for the automatic and manual fire alarm system.
2. All stormwater runoff in construction areas to be controled with silt fencing and/or detention.
Sweep paved surfaces and prevent tracking of soil offsite.
3. Demolition disposal to be made in areas off site and meeting all qualifications set forth by state
and local law and any other government agenices with jurisdiction.
4. Plans are engineered. All fire resistive construction (1 hour separation between units -vertical
and horizontal, and the area separation wall), fire blocking and engineered structural elements
require inspection prior to cover. Stairs are being remodeled at two locations.
5. Vapor barrier is required on all exterior walls and exterior ceilings via Kraft faced insulation, 4
mil poly or approved vapor barrier paint.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
A separate electrical permit is required for any electrical work.
2. Reinspections are required after any corrections are complete.
3. Final Inspections and approvals are required prior to occupancy.
4. All building permits expire if no progress has been made within six months, or if no inspections have
been made by the Building Department within one year. Call for at least one inspection per year to
keep your building permit active.
