A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PORT TOWNSEND FIXING THE TIME FOR HEARING
ON A PETITION FOR A STREET VACATION
BE IT RESOLVED, THAT:
The Port Townsend City Council shall conduct a public hearing on Street Vacation
Application No. LUP08-077. The proposal, if approved, would vacate a portion of a 15-foot
wide alley right-of-way lying north of Block 2 in Power's Addition to the City of Port
Townsend. The subject right-of-way lies west of Polk Street and east of Fillmore Street in the
Uptown area of Port Townsend.
The hearing will be conducted at or about 6:30 PM on Monday, October 20, 2008, in
the Council Chambers of City Hall, 540 Water Street, Port Townsend, Washington, or such
other date as the Mayor determines if necessary to accommodate other Council business or
requests by staff or applicant, so long as the hearing is not more than 60 days from adoption of
the Resolution.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at a regular business
meeting thereof, held this 15th day of September, 2008.
