Also present were Councilmen Black and Ciprioti, and Randy Tyler, City Planner. The minutes, which were mailed to the Comms s s i on e s, were approved, The secretary read a letter from PAST outlining some of the benefits of membership in that organization. Copies of the letter will be furnished to the Commissioners . The desirability of such membership will be considered at a later date. Kay Woj , June Scott, and Randy Tyler presented highlights of the Heritage for the Future meetings they attended at Fort Worden. Robert E , Deee se, 1919 Lawrence Street, has withdrawn his request to amend the City zoning Ordinance to permit in all residential areas as a Conditional. Use the sale of rare and used books. It was moved by Scott/Johnson to inform the City Council that, since Mr. DeWeese has withdrawn his request, no action Inas been taken, VOTE: yes 5 no 0 Request of L. Neil and Nand Jean Slater to vacate that portion of Seventh Street lying between Hendricks and Sherman Streets: Mr. Slater cane to the meeting with plans showing the layout of Sea Breeze Trailer Park. In order to make a recommendation, it was felt the City Council minutes should be searched for the initial actions taken in establishing this park site. Leffler/Johnson moved to table this matter until the next meeting so the City Council minutes may be researched for this information. Randy Tyler will brine the data to the Commission, VOTE: yes 5 no 0 Two new requests for street vacations have been received, as follows Richard H. Fisher and Diana J, Fisher, and Jerry and Gloria Donahue petition a vacation of "that portion of Sherman Street lying between 6th and 7th Avenue" . Wo j t/ co tt moved the petitioners be requested to submit more information. VOTE: yes 5 no Richard H. and Diana J, Fisher and George L. Gunn petition a vacation of "that portion of 6th Avenue lying between Hancock and Sherman Streets" .. Scott/Johnson moved this petition be treated the same as the preceding one, VOTE: yes 5 no 0 Randy Tyler will send the letters and will furnish the petitioners with a more detailed form on which to supply information needed. J. Leslie and Barbara M. Donovan and Anthony E, Stroer are reapplying under PUD for a rezone of property located at Glenwood Addition, Blocks 5-6-7-8-9-10-11-12 , all lots in blocks indicated. The next meeting of the Commission will be on March 17. Chairman Lester indicated this meeting will be primarily devoted to Density Zoning. Randy Tyler distributed codes of an Environmental Assessment Worksheet used by the County and a portion of the Seattle Post- I t l ligencer covering lana use planning. it MINUTES of 2-24-75 PAGE TWO A notion by Johnson/Tiller authorized Treasurer Scott to reimburse Kay Woj t for a tape purchased to record data from the Heritage for the Future Meetings at Fort Wordn and Kay Woj t, June Scott, and Evelyn Charkow for expenditures incurred while attending that meeting.
